The regular electric supply would be restored within three weeks.”A civic official said, “This is not the first time that cables and other electrical fittings have been stolen.The eastern freeway was built by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and was opened to traffic China RG22/U-Messenged Cables suppliers in June 2013. Shriniwas Kilje, assistant commissioner of M-East ward said, “The BMC has undertaken the works on the war footing to restore the electric supply in the tunnel and generators would be used temporarily to provide lighting within the tunnel.
